"Reaping The Whirlwind"

During my morning Bible reading as I was reading Jeremiah 30 the following two verse suddenly came alive to me:

"23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until He have done it, and until He have performed the intents of His heart: in the Latter Days ye shall consider it."

Listen and pay heed to My words for the time of the whirlwind of the Lord is at hand. Those who have sown by the wind are about to harvest the whirlwind of My wrath for My fierce anger is going forth kindled with fire against the wicked and the unrepentant. Just as Ezekiel saw My whirlwind of fire approach from the North so shall the unrepentant and the wicked experience the fire and the sword of the Lord as My chariots of judgment sweep through the Earth rendering forth My fury and My anger. Just as Nahum wrote, I Am slow to anger and great in power, yet I will not acquit the wicked. Who is there that can stand before My indignation and can abide the fierceness of My anger? Surely the unrepentant will be unable to stand before My wrath as they will be laid waste along with the wicked. Time and time again I have stretched forth My hand unto you by way of invitation to which you have responded with mocking and with scorn. Because you have utterly rejected Me so shall I laugh at you in the midst of your calamities and I will mock your fear for your fear will surely come as My whirlwind of destruction passes over you. When you shall then call upon Me from out of your distress, I will not answer and you shall not find Me because you have chosen to mock My pleas to come unto Me. And because you have chosen to heap scorn upon Me I shall in return heap My wrath upon you. The days of pleading and begging you to come unto Me are nearly over for your appointed hour of judgment is very close at hand and that time will no longer be stayed. Your only remaining option is to repent now and to do so quickly!

To those of you who are numbered among My elect, this harsh word is directed only to the mockers and scorners of this world.

You, who have ardently sought My face and are now within the safety of My Presence shall not experience the wrath of My whirlwind, though you shall be witnesses to its effect.

The time for playing games with your Lord is over!
