"The Hourglass" The Hour of Judgment is Here - prophecy |
Harley Hickling |
7-12-99 |
"The time of grace has passed. The hour of judgment is here. Woe be unto you who have not taken seriously My repeated calls to come out from among them... You will either become truly one of Mine or else I will cast you out even further into the darkness that you are so already comfortable with! My heart grieves for you and longs for you to seek out the shelter of My nurturing wings, but as always such a decision will have to be made by you for that is what free will is all about, isn't it?" |

The Importance and Advantage of a Thorough Knowledge of Divine Truth - sermon |
Jonathan Edwards |
(1703-1758) |
Hebrews 5:12 "For when, for the time, ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat." These words are a complaint, which the apostle makes of a certain defect in the Christian Hebrews, to whom he wrote. |

The Judgment Seat
of Christ |
Tom Stewart |
11-23-98 |
"We shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ" (Romans 14:10). Let no mistake be made that any Saint's perseverance in holiness can be a tribute to man; instead, our perseverance is a testimony to the God that sustains and empowers by His grace. For "by the grace of God I am what I am" (1Corinthians 15:10). It will be seen in Heaven that though our willing cooperation in our own perseverance was absolutely necessary, it was God's faithfulness that made it all possible. |

The Just Shall
Live By Faith |
Lester Roloff |
(1914 - 1982) |
"Have you ever learned to live by faith? You may ask, 'Would faith include every need?' It would. Your husband, your home, your provisions. You would not have to want for anything. 'Now the just shall live by faith.' Let me tell you how to live by faith..." |

The Killing of the Bull - prophecy |
Bob Neumann @ Bob's Home Page ---- New Window |
9-18-98 |
HE turned HIS HEAD and looked out into the center of this space and there stood this large Texas Longhorn type 'bull'. Exactly what you would see at UTexas football games or on commercials for the stock market. It's horns were wide and came to quite impressive points. It stood still in the center of a circle of light as a 'spot light' would cause. "THIS IS THE TRUE GOD OF AMERICA'' stated my MASTER. Slowly the 'bull' began to move and the spotlight moved with 'him', wherever the 'bull' moved the spotlight moved with 'him'. Every now and then it seemed to move suddenly and strike a pose. |

The Life That Wins -study |
Charles G. Trumbull |
1911 |
"There is only one life that wins and that is
the life of Jesus Christ. Every man may have that life; every man may live that life. I do not mean that every man may be Christ-like; I mean something very much better than that. I do not mean that a man may always have Christ's help. I mean something better than that. I do not mean that a man have power from Christ. I mean something very much better than power. And I do not mean that a man shall be merely saved from his sins and kept from sinning. I mean something better than even that victory. To explain what I do mean, I must simply tell you a very personal and recent experience of my own." |

The Light of the World -study |
Katie Stewart |
9-29-02 |
"When He was here as a Man, Jesus said to us, "35 Yet a little while is The Light with you. Walk while ye have The Light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have Light, believe in The Light, that ye may be the children of Light" (John 12:35-36). To know where you are going, presently, determines where you will wind up in the future. If Heaven is where you wish to spend Eternity, then Jesus is The Light Who guides you there. Take Jesus' example. Being "risen from the dead" (Matthew 28:7), the LORD Jesus is now returned to the "Father of Lights" (James 1:17), to His esteemed position "where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God" (Colossians 3:1). He knew where He wanted to be, and the "Father of Lights" guided His way to that place. Even Jesus Christ, as a Man, had to follow the Rules. He did not, nor did He desire to, climb up "some other way" (John 10:1). For, Jesus Christ, "Who in the days of His flesh... [even] though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered" (Hebrews 5:7-8). And, though no longer physically at our side, His Spirit, "the Spirit of Truth... will guide you into all Truth" (John 16:13) and encourage you to "continue in [His] Word" if you are to be His "disciples indeed" (John 8:31). "I am The Light Of The World: he that followeth Me shall NOT walk in darkness, but shall have The Light of Life" (John 8:12). It is only as we obey and "work the Works of Him that sent [Jesus]" (John 9:4) that we can "walk in the Light, as He is in the Light" (1John 1:7)." |

"The LORD's Table" |
Andrew Murray |
(1828-1917) |
excertp: SABBATH MORNING The Divine Invitation "Behold, I have made ready my dinner. All things are ready. Come to the marriage." –Matthew 22:4. Let the King of Heaven and Earth say this to you. In honor of His Son He has prepared a great supper. There the Son bears His human nature. There are all the children of men, dear and precious to the Father, and He has caused them to be invited to the great festival of the Divine love. He is prepared to receive and honor them there as guests and friends. He will feed them with His heavenly food. He will bestow upon them the gifts and energies of everlasting life. O my soul, thou also hast received this heavenly invitation. To be asked to eat with the King of Glory: how it behooves thee to embrace and be occupied with this honor. How desirous must you be to prepare yourself for this feast. How you must long that you should be in dress and demeanor, and language and disposition, all that may be rightly expected of one who is invited to the court of the King of kings. Glorious invitation! I think of the banquet itself and what it has cost the great God to prepare it. To find food for angels: for this only one word was necessary. But to prepare for man upon this accursed earth a banquet of heavenly food–that cost Him much. Nothing less than the life and blood of His Son, to take away the curse and to open up to them the right and the access to heavenly blessings. Nothing less than the body and the blood of the Son of God could give life to lost men. O my soul, ponder the wonders of this royal banquet. |

The Majesty
of the Atonement of Jesus Christ |
Tom Stewart |
12-31-99 |
"At this moment, only a short time before the 'glorious appearing of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ' (Titus 2:13), it is a retrospective of awe and wonder that we would consider again the central, fundamental, and timeless theme of the atoning self-sacrifice of the Creator for the well-being of rebellious and sinful man... he most majestic act of God towards us was the Atonement of Jesus Christ on the Cross for all mankind. So marvelous was this act of atonement, that the angels were quite eager to see how the LORD would handle it. 'Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the Gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from Heaven; which things the angels desire to look into' (1Peter 1:12). Eternity cannot exhaust our study of the love of God that was manifested in His atonement for us." |

The Man Who Moved A Mountain - story |
Judith Bronte |
6-22-2000 |
"In the old days of California, back when the rush for gold was at it's height, there lived an old man and his daughter. They lived modestly in a log cabin that the old man had hewn from the surrounding forest when his arm was stronger and his step more sure. The old man and his daughter led a happy and peaceful life, though they saw few people who would chance the wild and untamed wilderness to just stop in and say 'hello'..." |

The Manner in Which the Salvation of the Soul is to be Sought - sermon |
Jonathan Edwards |
(1703-1758) |
GENESIS 6:22 "Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he." CONCERNING these words, I would observe three things: 1. What it was that God commanded Noah, to which these words refer. It was the building of an ark according to the particular direction of God, against the time when the flood of waters should come; and the laying up of food for himself, his family, and the other animals, which were to be preserved in the ark. |

The Middle Rapture |
Tom Stewart |
4-4-98 |
My interpretation of Armin's dream puts God in the position of performing a Pre-Tribulational Rapture, a Pre-Mid-Tribulational Transformation, and a Pre-Wrath Rapture. This may seem impossible to some, "but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). |

The Miracle of Shady Meadow - story |
Judith Bronte |
|
The article read as follows: "Miss Cornelia Dewey passed away yesterday due to old age. She was 87. No surviving relatives." It pains me to see how many people misunderstood Miss Dewey. She was the godliest person that I have ever had the honor of knowing. In the interest of informing people about this gentle lady, I would like to tell you of an incident that has been referred to as "the miracle of shady meadow". To give you a perfect understanding of the way things were, I must go back five years. We had already known each other for some time, and I often visited her house. Even though she was sixty years older than I, we talked as though we were equals. Not that I ever tried to be disrespectful or talk out of turn, but her demeanor made you forget that she was eighty-two. |
