not come near thee."

house of the righteous shall stand."

stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway."
- Deut. 11:18-23
"Therefore shall ye lay up these My Words in your heart and in your soul, and
bind Them for a sign upon your hand, that They may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19 And
ye shall teach Them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine
house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest
up. 20
And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21 That
your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the
LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of Heaven upon the earth.
22 For
if ye shall diligently keep all these Commandments which I command you, to
do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him;
23 Then
will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater
nations and mightier than yourselves."

to possess it."

"For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise,
saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. 6 The words of the
LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou
shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
- Ps. 144:11-15
"Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh
vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: 12 That our sons may be
as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones,
polished after the similitude of a palace: 13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store:
that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: 14 That our oxen may
be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no
complaining in our streets. 15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy
is that people, whose God is the LORD."
- Ps. 147:12-15
"Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. 13 For He hath strengthened

in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. 15 He sendeth forth His Commandment
upon earth: His Word runneth very swiftly."

in His Way. 24
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with

- Ezra 9:12

shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and
I will save thy children."
- Prov. 22:6
"Train up a child in The Way he should go: and when he is old, he will not
depart from It." [ALL HIS LIFE TO OLD AGE]
- 2 Tim. 3:15
"And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are
able to make thee wise unto Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
- Ps. 8:2
"Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength
because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger."
- Matt. 21:16
"Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never
read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise?"

Who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the
Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped."
- Ex. 13:8,14
"And thou shalt show thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that
which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt... 14 And it shall be when thy
son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto
him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the
house of bondage."
- Deut. 4:9
"Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget
the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the
days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons."
By all means, read the Book of Proverbs. Obey every
verse, and claim every Promise. The whole book is written to "My son..." For every
command you obey there is a Promise for success or reward. For example:
- Prov. 1:8,9
"My son, hear the Instruction of thy father, and forsake not the Law of thy
mother: 9
For They shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck."
-
- Prov. 2:1-20
"My son, if thou wilt receive My Words, and hide My Commandments with thee;
2 So
that thou incline thine ear unto Wisdom, and apply thine heart to Understanding;
3 Yea,
if thou criest after Knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for Understanding; 4 If thou seekest
her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand
the fear of the LORD, and find the Knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD giveth Wisdom: out of His mouth cometh Knowledge
and Understanding. 7
He layeth up sound Wisdom for the righteous: He is a Buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He
keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints. 9 Then shalt
thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. 10 When Wisdom entereth
into thine heart, and Knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; 11 Discretion shall preserve
thee, Understanding shall keep thee: 12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the
man that speaketh froward things; 16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger
which flattereth with her words; 17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth
the Covenant of her God. 18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
19 None
that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of Life. 20 That thou mayest
walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous."
- Prov. 3:1,2
"My son, forget not My Law; but let thine heart keep My Commandments:
2 For length
of days, and long life, and peace, shall They add to thee."
- Prov. 3:3,4
"Let not mercy and Truth forsake thee: bind Them about thy neck; write Them
upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good Understanding in the
sight of God and man."
- Prov. 3:5,6
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy
ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
- Prov. 3:7,8
"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be
health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."
- Prov. 3:12
"For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he
delighteth."
As you can see,
for me to continue this list from Proverbs,
I would have to include
The Whole Book of Proverbs.

Suffer
the Little Children to Come Unto Me
---New Window
Or, Of Such is the Kingdom of Heaven
by Katie Stewart
Laodicean doctrine often directs young Christian parents to believe that small
children are not held accountable to God for their sins until they are quite old-
between the ages of eight and twelve. This lie of Satan can leave our most cherished
responsibilities, our own children, unguarded and open to the whims of the enemy.
The Scriptures reveal God's thoughts on the "nurture and admonition" of
very small children.
Included: advice given by the great servants of God,
Rev. Charles H. Spurgeon, and Rev. Charles G. Finney
(both from the Philadelphian Age Church ---New Window of the 17 & 1800's).
"Whereby are given unto us Exceeding Great And Precious Promises:
that by These ye might be partakers of the Divine Nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience Godliness;
And to Godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound,
They make you that ye shall neither be barren nor
unfruitful
in the Knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ."
