Definition: 220 days is from the Beginning of the Tribulation Week (November 19, 1998- we thought) until when the daily sacrifices must be started in the Temple (July 26,1999- we thought). Since the 70th Week of Daniel is 2,520 days long, and Daniel 8:13-14 describes a 2,300 day period of "daily sacrifice" (220 days into the Week), "desolation" (Middle of the Week), and "sanctuary be cleansed" (End of the Week); only 220 days are left at the Beginning of the Week to build and start up the Temple daily sacrifice.
